B. Shane Grutsch has spent most of his career in supply chain and operations and has been in the fats and oils world for the past decade, most recently as Vice President of Supply Chain and IT at Restaurant Technologies, Inc. In 2007, Shane founded Saint Paul Commodities, a merchandising company focused on the fats and oils industry.
Shane was on the front end of the biodiesel wave in the US and was marketing used cooking oil for biofuels as early as 2002. He has been responsible for many of the innovations in the industry, and as president and co-founder of Greentree Logistics, Shane prides himself on finding new ways to make life easier for his clients.
In his spare time, Shane likes to hang out with his wife Katie and son Zachary. He enjoys fishing, reading, and sports; he has been coaching youth soccer for the past five years.
Vice President and Co-Founder
Anthony is a certified transportation professional who has been involved in the transportation industry since 1990 when he started as a driver. Prior to co-founding Greentree Logistics, Anthony held the position of Vice President of Business Development for Wills Trucking Company; Wills has provided comprehensive transportation & logistics solutions for Fortune 500 environmental companies and alternative energy producers since 1951. Before Wills, Anthony, held the position of National Fleet and Safety Manager for Restaurant Technologies, Inc., a national company that distributes bulk cooking oil from thirty-six terminals around the United States. At RTI, Anthony was responsible for the fleet management of 250 vehicles, made up of Class 8 delivery vehicles outfitted with NTEP metering systems, system installation trucks and service vans, the company's safety and risk programs, and recruitment, training and retention programs for CDL drivers. Anthony is an active member of the National Private Truck Council and has served on its Advisory Board and Safety Committee.
Abbey Van Vynckt, CPA
Abbey Van Vynckt joined the team at Greentree Logistics in May 2012. Abbey is a certified public accountant who spent over 8 years in public accounting performing assurance and tax services for a variety of clients in the construction and real estate industry, as well as auditing employee benefit plans. Abbey obtained her Bachelor of Accounting from the University of Minnesota-Duluth with a minor in Economics. Abbey is a member of the AICPA and MN Society of CPA's, and is the treasurer for the Risk Management Association-MN Chapter. Abbey lives in Bemidji, MN with her husband, Joe, and their children, Harper and Joey.
Brittany is responsible for the back office operations at Greentree. She plays an integral role in both the financial and operational aspects of the Company and provides administrative support to our owner/operators. Prior to joining Greentree Brittany held the position of Associate Controller & HR at a fats, oils and grease resource recovery firm, managing the daily financial and personnel operations of their corporate office and satellite facilities. Brittany holds a BS in Business Administration from Drexel University.
Josh Lynch was one of the founders of SCS Transport, a for-hire freight transporter that was acquired by Greentree Logistics (GTL) in August 2013.
As General Manager Josh is responsible for driving growth and profitability in each of Greentree's divisions. He was instrumental in the opening of our national dispatch center, located in Lakeville, MN, and in the implementation of new back-office systems, employee programs and DOT safety and compliance controls.
Before SCS/GTL Josh owned a home improvements contracting company and is a founder/owner of a health club in his hometown of Waseca, MN.
Josh is an active member of the National Association of Small Trucking Companies (NASTC) and the Irish American Club of Southern MM.
Waste and Recycling Manager
Tina Silva has been managing waste transportation since 1989 and was instrumental during the clean up of New Orleans from Hurricane Katrina in 2005. She was able to secure and manage over 100 tri-axle dump trucks assisting in all aspects of the clean up effort. Tina returned to the greater New York area in 2009 and was able to duplicate her success in the transportation of bulk commodities. In October of 2012, Super Storm Sandy hit the East Coast. Tina was once again called upon to assist in clean up and recovery in New York and New Jersey. Tina was able to secure and manage over seventy tri-axle and walking floor trailers that moved 80,000 tons of storm debris in eight weeks. At Greentree Logistics, Tina is responsible for the sales and marketing activities for bulk transport of MSW/C&D waste stream and recycling in the Northeast region of the United States. Tina is a proven professional and continues to be a go-to person when a job needs to be done.
